Here are some snapshots of our first official art activity of the year. Using watercolor paints, students created a sunset, then cut black shapes out of construction paper and glued them on. Some got very creative and even made 3D images! Next, students used descriptive Halloween words to write about their painting. Finally, students typed up their explanations on the classroom computers and - voila! - 28 beautiful pieces of art were born.
